A Busy Bee at Pharr YMCA

All the bees in Bella’s hive have a job to do to keep the hive thriving, including her friends Sophia, Buzz, and Miguel. Now it’s Bella’s turn to discover how she will contribute to the hive. Is she a nurse bee? A guard bee? Or maybe a cleaning bee? Join us as Bella finds her determination and discovers her place the hive!

This brand new children's opera premiered in early 2018 with the Florentine Opera in Milwaukie, Wisconsin. Composer Ruben Piirainen's exciting new opera is based on the SHARP Literacy children's book of the same name.

This free presentation promises to be a fun adventure for the whole family!

What age group(s) is A Busy Bee fit for?

This musical storytelling performance is best suited for children 4-12 years old.

Do I need to bring my tickets with me?

No. It is not necessary to print out your tickets and bring them with you to the performance. We are simply tracking RSVPs to make sure that we do not exceed the capacity of the space where the performance is taking place.
