9th Annual Wizard of Oz Summer Carnival

Follow Dorothy and Toto over the rainbow to our 9th Annual Wizard of Oz Summer Carnival on Tuesday, June 27th – rain or shine!

Click your heels together for some fun because school is out and we’re off to see the Wizard as we celebrate the start of the summer season! The Discovery Center and our Story Garden will turn into Munchkin Land with fun, games, contests, entertainment and special events inside and out.

Test your skill at the Oz themed carnival booths and win prizes or enjoy some great music at our DJ party. Compete in the Emerald City Hula Hoop contest or take a ride on a pony cart. Then join Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion for some great food and yummy treats under the outdoor food tent compliments of Weis Markets.

Admission is $4 for members and $8 for not-yet-members. Additional cost for food.

Carnival games, Munchkin Land activities, entertainment, contests and prizes are included with admission. The Wizard of Oz Carnival runs from 10am to 3:30pm. The BC Trolley will be providing FREE transportation to The Discovery Center from designated sites. Come dressed as your favorite character and get ready for a whirlwind of fun!
