The LSU School of Kinesiology is hosting the 8th Annual Louisiana Parkinson's Conference on July 20, 2019 at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. This day of learning and networking is for people interested in combating Parkinson’s disease; people with the disorder, caregivers, researchers & clinicians.
The conference will focus on sharing successful strategies to improve quality of life for those with Parkinson’s disease. We are excited to announce this year’s keynote speaker - Dr. Shilpa Chitnis, Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. This year in addition to the dynamic presentations, attendees will participate in an engaging exhibitor fair as well as interactive demonstrations including ballet and Zumba.
