Campers explore the worlds of theater, art, media, design and music with lots of time for play. The French language lies at the heart of all programs, through formal instruction and immersion. Specific activities allow students of all French levels to benefit from our camp that will vary each week. This very active French-language camp includes one weekly field trip. Class size: 15 campers Bring your own lunch; nut-free snacks provided Camp Exploration activities include: • French: revision of sounds in French, listening and oral comprehension • Drama: acting games and techniques (body control, self-expression and improvisation) • Arts & Crafts: collage, water colors, pastels inspired by French painters. • Storytelling: narrative, character development and beginning playwriting, with productions created in our media lab • Music: learning to sing together in a small group choir • Sports: rock climbing, classic French ball games (e.g. pétanque)
