Football for Life was formed to give Native American youth the developmental assets needed to succeed in school, the transition to adulthood, and life.
The proceeds from this year's tournament will be used to bring the Thorpes from Pine Ridge HS in South Dakota to California for the first game of the season.
Football for Life will also be opening the camp in Pine Ridge to every High School and Elementary School this year.
If proceeds allow, Football for Life has plans to assist Pine Ridge HS with reopening their school library.
