2nd Annual Erik K. Hanson Memorial MiniGolf Tournament

NOTE: Because of the Coronavirus situation, we are going to postpone this tournament until after things settle down. Hopefully by late May. Check back on this site for updates. Update as of March 16, 2020

The Eric K. Hanson Memorial Tournament is similar to a charity event at a regular golf course, but at a miniature golf course instead. The event will be from Noon to 7 PM Sunday March 29 at the new International School of Texas campus (formerly Wild Kitchen + Bar) at 15506 W. HWY 71 in Bee Cave (near Nitro Swim).

You enter a team by buying a Tee Time ticket at your desired playing time for $50/team if you register by March 24 ($60/team if after March 24). Your team can be 2, 3 or 4 members...the $50 or $60 entry fee is the same whether 2, 3 or 4 on your team. The lowest two scores on each hole are counted toward your total score, so having 4 members improves your chances. After playing, you place your scorecard into the box for the prize you want to win. After all play is completed, we will draw three scorecards out of each box and the lowest score of the three will be the winner for that prize.100% of your entry fee goes to the scholarship and is tax deductible.You

The 2nd annual EKH Memorial Scholarship is available to eligible seniors at Lake Travis High School and will be awarded in the Spring 2020. This memorial scholarship was lovingly put in place to honor the beautiful life and spirit of Erik Kyle Hanson, a 2017 graduate of Lake Travis High School. It is our hope to open the dialogue in our schools and community that mental illness and anxiety are no different and should not be treated any differently than other diseases. Persons suffering from depression and anxiety need to feel supported and safe in expressing these internal, hidden pains and strife; and those closest to them need to understand how to assist them in seeking treatment. Every life is beautiful and every life matters! After the conclusion of our successful first tournament last year, we have started a new charitable foundation, Engage & Heal Foundation, to further our efforts to educate our schools and community about mental health.
