Cecilia was born into a family of designers in Hong Kong, but it was the sheep farms she encountered while living in Nova Scotia that fostered her passion for felting and fiber arts. Cecilia relocated to South Carolina in 2013 and, since then, has been teaching fiber arts for the Greenville Center for Creative Arts, the Spartanburg Art Museum, STITCHES, and the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair as well as for local schools, communities, and private individuals. She also demonstrates felting at museums, galleries, and festivals across the United States and Canada, and she has taken part in multiple juried art exhibitions and fashion shows. Cecilia also designs and packages all-inclusive felting kits for beginners. Her kits are carried by museums, gift and hobby shops across North America and are available online from her etsy shop, www.FELTasticFashion.com.
