Celebrate our 29th Tualatin River Discovery Day! Help Tualatin Riverkeepers mark another major milestone and join us for a paddle trip down the beautiful Tualatin River.
This self-guided 3 mile paddle hosted by Tualatin Riverkeepers includes a guidebook highlighting wildlife and history specific to this section of the river. The trip will launch and end at the newly created Farmington Paddle Launch.
The first Tualatin River Discovery Day was organized to raise awareness of the Tualatin River, its wildlife and the health of the water, environment and people. Tualatin Riverkeepers is proud that this tradition has continued on, giving thousands of paddlers a chance to explore the Tualatin River.
This paddle trip is designed for first time paddlers, families with children, experienced paddlers – everyone is welcome. Participants can rent a canoe, single or double kayak (including life jackets and paddles) for $35 or may bring their own for no cost. The Riverkeepers will provide a shuttle service back to the parking site (1.5 miles north on River Road) for participants.
Discovery Day sells out every year! Reserve your launch time today.
Event volunteers needed for a variety of volunteer roles.
