24th Annual Harvest Grape Stomp

Finally, harvest season has arrived and it's time for grape stomping competitions! This event is perfect for a family outing. Listen to continuous live music the entire weekend by superb local musicians. Lakeridge wine, beer, soft drinks and a variety of food is available for purchase, along with complimentary Winery tours and tasting. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to help the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties, see below for more details.

GRAPE STOMPING SUMMER FUN!

The grapes are here! This is always an exciting time of the year as we prepare to bring in the harvest for another year. It's also been a long standing tradition here at the winery to celebrate that with our 24th Annual Harvest Grape Stomp, and that means it's time to "stomp some grapes!"

The annual grape stomping is by far the most popular and highly anticipated events we have at any of our festivals. It's truly fun everyone in the family so get those happy feet ready and come join the fun!

MUSIC ON THE OUTDOOR STAGE

We feature some of the areas top bands on our outdoor stage in a variety of genres such as pop, rock, blues and jazz. Our outdoor stage is surrounded by large Oak trees with beautiful views of our vineyard and rolling hills. So bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come enjoy the great music.

WINE & CHEESE BAR

Our popular Wine & Cheese Bar is located upstairs in the wine shop and will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4pm during the festival. The Wine & Cheese Bar features all of our famous Lakeridge wines by the glass, a variety of beers, and our course our cheese plates made from high quality Boars Head cheese!

We offer a large variety of wine, beer, soft drinks and food for purchase at the event. Our food pavilion features a huge selection of quality food options such as American, Greek, Mexican, Seafood, BBQ, plus wraps and salads. You can also enjoy Wine Slushies, Twistee Treat ice cream, and kettle corn.

FUNTASTIC BOUNCY HOUSE PLAY LAND!

We're happy to announce that Just Funtastic will be at our first annual Summerfest Grape Stomp with their totally Funtastic inflatables, rock climbing wall, plus food and tons of fun.

The bouncy house play land has been very popular during our August grape stomp, so we've decided to add it to the new Summerfest event as well. The play land consists of multiple inflatables, plus this year we are also offering the Funtastic climbing wall. PLUS, cotton candy and snow cones available for purchase.

Schools out, and summer has begun so bring the kids out for a Funtastic day of grape stomping, bouncing, jumping, eating and entertainment!

COMPLIMENTARY WINERY TOURS & TASTING

Winery Tours
Tours usually run every 15-20 minutes during the festivals and start with a video presentation which shows the growing of the Florida grapes to the wine making process, and the finishing with the bottling and labeling. Your personal Tour Guide will then show you the production area and the spectacular view of the vineyards where the grapes are grown and harvested.

Wine Tasting
Enjoy a sample of up to 6-8 different wines as you walk through our production area and stop at each wine station. You will taste our award winning wines from dry to sweet including reds, whites, sparkling, and desert style wines.

ID Requirements for Tastings
US citizens: state issued drivers license, military ID, or state ID card.
International guest: MUST have an original passport. No exceptions.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties is an after school and summer program for children ages 6-18. Our Mission At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

We are happy to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties and the work they do in our community by donating a portion of the gate proceeds to their great organization.
