Representative Doreen Carter challenges the community to a 21-DAY VEGGIE CHALLENGE
AND THE BEET GOES ON! February is Black History Month and American Heart Month. In view of the fact that heart disease is the number one killer of African Americans, this Black History Month we're inviting you to join the American Heart Association's fight against heart disease. To help you “Eat More Veggies,” get "Heart Healthy," and “Keep District 92 Strong,” Representative Doreen Carter is challenging the community to a 21-Day Veggie Challenge, beginning on Saturday, February 1, 2020. The Vegeculture 21-Day Veggie Challenge provides an excellent platform to increase Heart Health Awareness, cutback on fast-foods, and jump-start a healthy lifestyle with your colleagues, friends, family, and peers. It doesn’t matter if your prepared to commit to going 100% vegan or vegetarian or if you would only like to commit to having more vegetables with your lunch or dinner, this challenge is for you.
In view of the fact that we understand the most challenging parts of eating healthy are 1. developing the habits of eating healthy and 2. adding healthy recipes to your repertoire, your friends at Vegeculture Culture will be serving up simple recipes during our 21-Day Veggie Challenge.
To participate in the 21-Day Veggie Challenge this February all you have to do is commit to one of the following options then click the green "TICKETS" button to signup:
GO 100% VEGAN FOR 21 DAYS
