2020 Vineyard South Central Regional Conference

We are pleased to announce the South Central Regional Conference in Pearland, Texas, June 1-4, 2020! Pastors Alan Allen and Kurt Attaway, along with their staff, are excited to be hosting this year’s conference in their new facility. Many thanks to the Pearland Vineyard for offering to accommodate all of us this year!

The theme of this year’s conference is The Greatness of the Gospel. The thought originated with our National Director, Phil Strout, several months ago and he has since asked that we all focus on this as the theme of all our regional conferences this summer.

We are pleased to have special guest, Bradley Jersak, joining us for our conference. Brad is a pastor, church-planter, author, theologian, and is currently the Dean of the Master of Ministries program at St. Stephen’s University in New Brunswick, Canada. His most recent works are A More Christlike God and A More Christlike Way. In addition, we will hear from our former National Director, Bert Waggoner, and our Regional Leader, Phil Jeansonne.

SPEAKERS

BRAD JERSAK

Brad Jersak is an author and teacher based in Abbotsford, BC. He serves as a reader and monastery preacher at All Saints of North America Orthodox Monastery. He also occasionally teaches at The Bridge in Abbotsford. Through his books and seminars, Brad shares the good news that God is Love, perfectly revealed in Jesus Christ. He teaches others how to encounter God through the practice of ”listening prayer,” through which God’s love heals wounded hearts and empowers us to heal this broken world.

BERT WAGGONER

Berten Waggoner was the National Director of Vineyard USA from 2000 to 2013. His career in ministry extends over a 50 year period. During this time of service he has started and pastored churches, mentored many leaders who are now serving in the church, served as a college professor, led in denominational structures, and taught in many different parts of the world.

PHIL JEANSONNE

Phil Jeansonne is the Vineyard USA South Central Regional Leader and Lead Pastor of Vineyard Church of New Orleans. Phil and Debra planted Vineyard New Orleans in 1985. Prior to that, Phil was a businessman in the city but sensed God calling him to leave his position and set out on a new journey. With his family and a few friends, the Vineyard church was started. Thirty years later, Phil's passion to see the lives of those in his community impacted and changed by the presence of God is as strong as ever.

Children will have their own programming at each of the main sessions, may be dropped off 15 minutes prior to the start of the session, and must be picked up 15 minutes after the close of each session.
