2020 Uptown Music Festival benefiting University Area CDC

UPTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Uptown Music Festival was created to bring the Uptown District of Tampa Florida together to highlight the rich culture of the area through music. This one-day event will draw Tampa residents and surrounding cities to the Uptown District of Tampa Florida for a day of music and art to benefit the programs and services of University Area CDC. With over 20,000 residents living in unincorporated Hillsborough County with major institutions such as the University of South Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center, Advent Health and Uptown (University Mall) the festival is sure to become one of the premier cultural events in the area.

This outdoor event held in the beautiful University Area Park (14013 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, FL 33613) is set to be a fun and relaxing evening for the whole family to enjoy. Limited Reserved seating available. General Admission is lawn seating, so bring your outdoor chairs, blankets and enjoy. No outside food or beverages allowed. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors.

For over 20 years, University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation) has championed positive change in the economic, educational and social levels of the community through youth programs, adult education, affordable housing, workforce and resource assistance, and community engagement. University Area CDC is a 501(c)3 public/private partnership whose mission is children and family development, crime prevention and commerce growth. Our primary focus is the redevelopment and sustainability of at-risk neighborhoods in the Uptown/University area, surrounding University of South Florida's Tampa campus. Children 12 and under admitted free in General Admission with a paid adult admission.

*No tailgating

*No smoking excepted designated smoking areas
