Welcome spring at the region’s premier event filled with fishing, hunting and outdoor products, services at the Minneapolis Convention Center, April 2-5, 2020
Minneapolis – February 6, 2020 – Celebrating 88 years, the Progressive® Insurance Northwest Sportshow® navigates back to the Minneapolis Convention Center April 2-5, 2020. A one-stop-shop before spring and summer, the Sportshow is the primary boat, dock & lift, travel, tackle, marine accessories and ATV sales event in the upper Midwest.
Highlights include:
-MN-FISH Day on Thursday, April 2. Seminar speakers include Ron Schara, “Mr. Walleye” Gary Roach, Tackle Terry Tuma, Travis Franks, Babe Winkelman and Brad Leifermann (Seminars included with admission, no additional fee to attend)
-A shore lunch fish fry competition on Friday, April 3, emceed and judged by Ron and Laura Schara
-Daily education seminars from Nature Nick’s Animal Adventure, featuring a wide variety of live animals including owls, a falcon, an alligator, a toucan, a hedgehog, turtles, snakes and more
-Live fishing and casting demonstrations at the Hawg Trough
-Free duck decoy painting for kids with Ducks Unlimited
-Turkey call making with National Wild Turkey Federation
-A catch-and-release trout pond
-Create a crankbait with Women Angler’s Minnesota
-Regional resorts and outdoor equipment and service providers with information and booking details available to plan your next trip

Cost for tickets:
Adults (13 and older): $14.00
Youth (12 and under): FREE with paid adult
Active Military: FREE with military ID - present at box office
Senior Day: Thursday, April 2 only, $11 admission
Super Thursday Special: $5 after 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2
