2020 Loving Solutions' Fishing for Souls Bass Tournament at North Toledo Bend State Park

Help raise funds for Loving Solutions by participating in the second annual Fishing for Souls Bass Tournament. Proceeds from the event will help fund the opening of the Loving Solutions' Christ-centered home where women recovering from methamphetamine addiction can live and learn necessary life skills through discipleship, counseling, advocacy and personal care assistance. 

Here are all the details:

1st through 8th place

Youth under 16 years old - $100

*Payouts shown are based on 150 boat entries. Actual payouts will be based on the number of entries.

TOURNAMENT RULES

RULES: All decisions made by the tournament director and/or tournament officials will be final. The tournament director may make a change at his discretion or when the safety of the anglers is at question. Tournament officials have the right to refuse any entry.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND DRUGS: Anyone consuming alcoholic beverages or drugs (other than prescription) during the tournament hours will be disqualified.

SPORTSMANSHIP: All contestants are expected to practice courtesy, safety, and follow local and state laws. Anyone not doing so will be disqualified. Any person who has been disqualified from any prior tournament may be subject to being refused entry to this tournament.

ELIGIBILITY: This is an open tournament. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Teams must fish from the same boat. No one other than a paid contestant in the boat during tournament hours. Contestants must have a valid LA or TX fishing license, and a driver's license / photo ID in their possession during tournament hours.

BAIT & TACKLE: Only artificial lures may be used with the exception of pork rinds and liquid bait attractant. NO LIVE BAIT. No trolling the main engine. Only one rod per angler in the water at any time.

CELL PHONES: No cell phone usage or data usage during tournament hours, unless it's an emergency.

OUTSIDE HELP: Cannot receive any outside help or information on the day of the tournament.

FISHING GUIDES: Licensed Guides or anyone who has guided in the last 90 days are not allowed to fish.

PERMISSIBLE WATERS: Contestants must be able to drive into any waters they fish. Contestants must fish from boat.

POLYGRAPH: Each contestant must agree to submit to a polygraph examination by his/her signature and must abide by its conclusion. If you fail or refuse exam, you will be   disqualified.

PRACTICE CATCH & RELEASE: Contestants must make every effort to keep fish alive and in good condition to be released live back into the lake. There will be a 1/4 lb. penalty per dead fish deducted from total weight.

LATE PENTALTY: 1/2 pound per minute penalty; after 20 minutes, you are disqualified.

BOATS & MOTORS: No engine shall exceed the maximum HP rating for the boat on which it is used. All boats must meet U.S. Coast Guard and state regulations. All boats must have an aerated live well.

SAFETY: U.S. Coast Guard approved life vests must be worn and secured while the main engine is running. The engine kill switch must be attached to the driver while the main engine is running. Tournament will take place regardless of weather, please use caution.

SCORING FISH: A maximum of five (5) fish per team. All fish must measure at least 14 inches in length. Penalties will be deducted from the total weight.

CULLING: No team may have more than 5 fish in their live-well at any time. Culling must begin after catching the 6th fish.

TIES: The earliest entry received will win any ties of total stringer weight or big bass.
