2020 Honor Weekend - Pre Registration (HC1-250-20-1)

THIS IS A NON-REFUNDABLE PRE-REGISTRATION FOR HONOR WEEKEND - JANUARY 18 - 20, 2019
What:  Honor Weekend
Who: Open to all youth ages 13 years old to 18 years of age 
When: January 24 - 26, 2020
Where: Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center - Chaska, MN
Cost: $25 Pre-Registration [$200.00 balance due not later than January 15, 2020]  This cost includes 2 nights of hotel lodging, meals, activities, and recognition items.
The Honor Weekend is for those that want to be the best of the best.  Honor Weekend is a fun-filled weekend of activities and learning focusing on honor, chivalry, manners, social skills, etiquette, and character enhancement.
Interactive Presentations and Activities will introduce and reinforce participants to the common everyday manners and etiquette in today's world while addressing social issues relevant to today's teenage youth. 
The event will be held at the Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center in Chaska, Minnesota and youth will be assigned to a patrol with other male or female youth, respectively.  They will share a hotel room for the two nights of the weekend (not mixed gender rooms).  They will work within their patrol as well as in a large group on different activities and build friendships that will last a lifetime.  
Participants will be provided meals along with great activities which include an organized game night on Friday night and a social dance on Saturday evening (fully chaperoned and structured of course).  Please consider joining us Sunday afternoon for our Graduation and closing ceremony.
Participants will receive a distinguished award called the Honor Cord; a purple braided shoulder cord which can be worn to help identify them as one of the best of the best in civilian or program dress.  Of course this honor comes with a price, you can lose the privilege of wearing the Honor Cord should you be identified as not living up to the code of conduct presented at this Honor Weekend.
NOTE: The pre-registration cost is a non-refundable guarantee to hold a participation spot for you.  The remaining balance of $200.00 is due not later than January 15, 2020.
There is a mandatory Pre-Course Meeting being held on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at Woodlake Lutheran Church in Richfield (2120 West 76th Street - Richfield, Minnesota 55423). Registrants will get an email a week prior reminding them of the meeting with further details. At this meeting participants and families will learn further details of the weekend, meet their patrol leader and fellow participants, and turn in required health forms and waiver forms.  Information will be provided via email to all registered participants a few weeks prior to this evening.
