Lecturer Ann E. Killebrew is an associate professor at the Pennsylvania State
University. For the past thirty-five years, she has participated in or directed
numerous archaeological projects in Israel, Egypt and Turkey. She is currently
the co-director of the Tel Akko (Israel) “Total Archaeology” project. Her research
focuses on the Bronze and Iron Ages in the eastern Mediterranean, ancient
ceramic studies, Roman and Byzantine Palestine, new technologies and 3D
documentation in archaeology, and heritage studies/community archaeology.
