2019 Urban Landscape Summit
March 20-21,2019 Straughn Center
The theme for 2019 Urban Landscape Summit will be the Future of Florida Landscapes. The first day of the Summit will focus on sustainable Florida landscapes. In the morning, UF faculty will present encouraging research directed toward sustainable lawns and landscapes. After lunch, a panel of stakeholders will discuss external forces accelerating the need for alternatives to conventional landscapes.
PDEC Registration
UF faculty should also register through PDEC to allow for reimbursement.
Graduate Student Poster Presentation Competition
Participants will present their project in a 2 minute lightning round and it will be followed by a traditional poster session. Participants are judged on importance of the subject to Florida, scientific merit, experimental design rigor, literature review, completeness, clarity, and response to questions. Award recipients will receive a monetary award towards their graduate work.
