2019-Sept or Oct: Havasu Falls Hiking/Camping late Summer (Levels 2 and up)

Sept: 26-30, 2019 (ideally with 2 days weekend) or Sept 30 to Oct 4 (weekday, lower cost)
Oct: 17-21, 2019 (weekend) or 14-18 (weekday)

ADVANCE DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION and TRIP COST:

1. Advance Deposit due by Jan 30, 2019. (At least 10% more to deposit amount if sending after Feb 1, 2019 IF SPACES ARE AVAILABLE). It is REFUNDABLE BY FEB 1, 2019 if can't get reservations. It is NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT (from Feb 1 forward)
***DEPOSIT: $375 (for weekend) or $300(for weekday)

2. The following policies apply when making a cancellation:

***After putting down deposit, it is non-refundable (or as indicated above)

***3 weeks prior to the trip: 100% of the total estimate trip amount is subject to forfeiture

3. Estimate Trip Cost: due 3 weeks before the trip.

Per person:
>>>Camping with your own equipment: $600+ (weekdays) or $700+ (weekend): not including costs: food, helicopter, mule luggage, etc

>>>Camping and we will plan tents, transfer your luggage: $850 (weekdays) or $1000 (weekend) not including costs: food, helicopter, etc

1. Lodging 1 night (near the trailhead, will be double occupancy)
2. Camping 3 nights in Havasu Canyon campground (2 miles passing Supai Tribal Village)
3. Carpool in SUVs or vans: one way driving from OC to trailhead at least 8 hours

Optional services to pay later:
1. Mule pack fee: $65 (30 lbs/person RT) and helicopter ride (if available) $85 one way
2. Food (est. $70+ depending your budget) for the whole trip, water, and your personal things for each person. There are a convenient store, a restaurant in the village and a restaurant in the campground FYI. There is drinking water in the campground

Tentative Itinerary: will be update once we get the reservations. However, the sample of a 4 nights, 5 days trip in the past (schedule below)

1. Thurs evening Dec 13 in Peach Springs Haluapai Lodge

2. Fri Dec 14: drive at least an hour to the trailhead and hike 8 miles down 2500 ft loss to the village lodge. Hiking another 2 miles one way to see Little Navajo & Havasu Falls. Overnight at Supai Village Lodge for 3 nights. Optional to take helicopter down to save energy for more hiking in the canyon.

3. Sat Dec 15: more hiking in the canyon to see Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls, swimming/relaxing in the waterfalls (8 to 10+ miles) or hiking to Colorado River (18+ miles difficult trail, crossing creek, climbing ladders, etc.)

4. Sun Dec 16: more hiking/relaxing in the canyon, swimming in the waterfalls (8 to 10+ miles)

5. Mon Dec 17: hiking back up 8 miles (optional helicopter if available) & driving home
