RACE ACROSS TAHITI! *THIS IS A VIRTUAL RACE Where will your feet take you?  How about a journey around the world?  Yes, that’s right.  Let’s go on a journey.   Sign up for our  virtual races and you’ll get a custom race medal of each country mailed to you and we’ll share fun and interesting facts about each country on our Virtual World Racers Facebook Page. For each race you can choose the distance you want to complete:  5K, 10K, 13.1 miles (half marathon) or 26.2 miles(full marathon).  Once you complete one country, you can move on to the next!  We’ll post 6 new countries every six months!  Start collecting your medals NOW! This one is to race across TAHITI! What: This is a 5K, 10K, 13.1 or 26.2 virtual race! You choose your course and time yourself. Race across Tahiti! When: Complete your race any time in November 2019!  *Medals and bibs will begin shipping out at the end of October 2019. If you sign up after that your medals will ship within 2 to 5 days of signing up.Where:  You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).Why:  Because we want to race across every country on the planet!  Cost:  The price is $15 and that includes your medal, bib and shipping.  By the way, we are donating 10% of each and every race registration to Pencils of Promise, an incredible organization! They build schools to ensure that their students have access to a quality learning environment. So far they’ve been able to build 363 schools since 2009.  Our goal is to donate $35,000 which is the amount it takes to build one school.  So let’s race around the world and build schools along the way! Check out our donation page HERE. WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Run on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you.
