2019 NC Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival

Join us for the 4th Annual NC Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival!  This exciting event gets better every year!!  Taste local and regional chocolates and cheeses.  A variety of wines will also be showcased.

Enjoy TASTINGS of your choice, browse vendors and the beautiful SHOPS and restaurants of Lafayette Village.  Visit the DEMONSTRATION TENT to learn from experts in these categories. 

Sit, SIP and LISTEN to live music from BANDS, 2 DJ's and other entertainment during this unique festival.  Note:  There will be 2 separate tasting times to allow for short lines.

This event will sell out again!  VIP Ticket holders will sample tastings from Flemings Steakhouse. Consider it an afternoon getaway to EUROPE without travel expenses!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is for the entire family or just adults if that is your preference.  A valid ID is necessary upon check in to pickup your tickets.  You must be 21 years of age to drink all alcoholic beverages.  Those under the age of 21 may still come, purchase tickets, participate and enjoy cheese and chocolate tastings.  Children are not required to purchase a ticket.

What is the difference between a General Admission ticket and a VIP ticket?

General Admission tickets allow entry to the festival beginning at noon.  GA tickets include 12 tasting tickets, a wristband, a map and a souvenir wine glass.  VIP tickets include entry to the festival 1 hour earlier (at 11am) than the general public, 15 sampling tickets, a wearable SWAG bag with giveaways, a souvenir wine glass, entry to win a grand prize.  Entry into into the VIP area with 2 tastings.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Coming with a group?  Uber or Lyft are great options.  All event parking is free!  There will be plenty of underground parking available below Lafayette Village.  Parking is also available in connecting lots.  Parking/Traffic attendants will be available to assist with directions and parking.

What can I bring into the event?

You may bring cameras, blankets, lawn chairs and strollers into the village.  Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed.  There are many shops of Lafayette Village and at tasting stations where beverages of all kinds may be purchased.  Thank you in advance for supporting the local village shops!

What's the refund policy?

As with most festivals, there are no refunds allowed for this event.  We will not be able to accommodate any requests for refunds.  In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for October 19, 2019.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Printing your tickets in advance will be the easiest method for check in.  You may also check in via your Eventbrite app by showing the pre-purchased tickets on your mobile device.  You must show a state or government-issued ID to be served alcohol.

Are children allowed to attend this event?

Yes, this event is open to the entire family.  Children are not required to purchase a ticket.
