The Children's Advocacy Alliance is proud to be hosting the release of the Annie E. Casey Foundation's 2019 KIDS COUNT® Data Book, the 30th edition of the book. This annual publication looks at child well-being in the United States.
The annual KIDS COUNT® Data Book uses 16 indicators to rank each state across four domains ─ economic well-being, education, family and community and health ─ as an assessment of child well-being. This 30th edition of the Data Book examines how America’s child population has changed, demographically and geographically.
CAA will also be discussing how children's bills fared during Nevada's 2019 Legislative Session and will discuss next steps to ensure we continue to improve the well-being of Nevada's children.
Join us as we discuss Nevada's ranking, look back on 30 years of child well-being in the state, and discuss building a better Nevada for our children!
