2019 FL Bar ILS Richard DeWitt Memorial Vis Pre-Moot

The 2019 Florida Bar International Law Section Richard DeWitt Memorial Vis Pre-Moot Competition is set to take place on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

The day-long competition includes several rounds of oral arguments by participating law school teams, with expert mock arbitrators serving as judges. A confidential arbitrators’ brief that summarizes the issues in the case will be provided to all volunteers prior to the event. CLE credit will be available and a hosted reception, then informal happy hour will follow the competition.

The event relies on the participation of the South Florida legal community and we appreciate your willingness to volunteer your time for this important event. As such, we are also requesting "alternate arbitrators" for the event to ensure that all students are provided the required amount of judges on the day of the program. Please consider this when volunteering to participate.

Kindly note that final registration for volunteer arbitrators is subject to the availability of space, placement, and the final arbitrators' schedule.
