Phoenix Black Women’s Equal Pay Forum held August 25, 2019!!!!!  

Black Women’s Equal Pay Day (8/22/19) is the date in the new year when Black women FINALLY earn what white, non-Hispanic men made last year alone.  Black women working full time, year-round, earned between 48 and 61 cents for every dollar earned by their white male peers. That means over the course of a 40 year career Black women earn an estimated $946,120 less than white, non-Hispanic men.  The wealth and income pay gap is REAL and it's WRONG!  #Time'sUp  #IWantMyWholeDollar #BlackWomensEqualPayDay  

Join us Sunday, August 25th 2:00PM-6:00PM at the Phoenix Forum to learn more about the wage gap, how best to negotiate salary increases and promotions, and hear about local and state initiatives designed to help Black women and entrepreneurs close the gap.
