2019 Black Nativity The Musical

The "Black Nativity" originated in 1961 and was performed Off-Broadway by Langston Hughes. The modified celebration of the birth of Jesus exhibits more than just another Christmas production. The spirited performance is presented with a taste of African American flavor. “Black Nativity” articulates not only the story of Jesus’ birth, but also the splendiferous sound of Gospel music!
