What are the key elements to ensure your fundraising success? Where do donors come from? Where should we fish? How can we build a sustainable and ongoing fundraising program in this economy with our limited resources? Learn the basic elements that you need and free resources to use for your organization. Start-up or long-standing organization, volunteer or staff, rookie or veteran – this session will give you the basics you need to increase your success and sustainability.

About the presenter:

Elizabeth Fallon Quilter, CFRE, has worked in, with, and for, nonprofit organizations for more than 30 years. Her roles have included staff, consultant, board member, donor, trainer and coach. Elizabeth has helped myriad human service organizations raise tens of millions of dollars. Her proudest work is helping organizations build sustaining development infrastructures.

An award-winning fundraiser, Elizabeth is a certified fundraising executive, a master trainer for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and is a certified consultant for the Nonprofit Lifecycles Institute. She has provided certified training for continuing education credits for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), YMCA -USA, and CFRE International. She is a frequent presenter in the Nonprofit Education Workshop Series (NEWS) for the Community Foundation of Central New York and has been a P.O.W.E.R. consultant for the Gifford Foundation.

Elizabeth is the current chair of the Women’s Fund of Central New York, where she’s in her sixth year on the Leadership Council. She has previously served the Association of Fundraising Professionals Chicago chapter (board and committee positions and chair) and on the AFP - International Board, where she was Diversity Chair. She is a current member of the Central New York Chapter. She was honored with the AFP-Chicago President’s award in 2001.

As Chief Development Officer and campaign director of the YMCA of Greater Syracuse, Elizabeth helped the community build the $22m Northwest Family Y in Baldwinsville. Her current consulting practice is primarily in Central New York and Chicago.

Elizabeth lives in Baldwinsville, NY with her family and rescue dog, and likes to be on or near big water as often as possible.
