2019 Annual NCAIR Conference - Institutional Researchers: Find Your Treasure!
The 2019 NCAIR annual conference is March 25 - 27, 2019, and will be held at the Blockade Runner Hotel, an oceanfront venue. Located near Wilmington, NC, the Blockade Runner Hotel is a unique, authentic, coastal destination located on the beach, with the harbour right across the street.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS: A room block is reserved at Blockade Runner with a rate of $130 per night for Ocean Front rooms and a rate of $110 per night for Harbour Front rooms. Reservations may be made by calling the resort at 800-805-2252 (refer to the NC Association of Institutional Research room block) or you may book online at
The room block and discounted rate will expire on March 3, 2019. There are also cottage options (next to hotel)(where hospitality suite will be) for a Sunday - Tuesday package ($355).
Monday, March 25th provides a full day of pre-conference activities for attendees, including a full-day IPEDS training session and 2 half-day pre-conference workshops: "Creating a Data Warehouse on a Shoestring Budget" and "f(Tableau) = MAX([Efficiency])". The conference kicks off with a reception at 5:30pm Monday, followed by a keynote address and dinner. Tuesday, March 26th provides a full day of concurrent sessions with morning and afternoon breaks. The conference wraps up with special sessions on Wednesday morning, followed by the annual NCAIR business meeting.
