As National Commanding Officer of the Montford Point Mariness of Amerrica, I am delighted to invite you and your guest to attend the 2018 National Annual Heritage Military Banquet on Sunday, 3:00 p.m. June 24, 2018 to be held at Burton Manor Conference & Banquet Center, 27777 Schoolcraft Rd.,Livonia, MI. This event is one of the most distinguished of its kind in the United States that honors veterans and members of all branches of the military from all over the nation.

Marine Major General James E. Livingston (USMC-RET) (SC)and President of the Medal of Honor Society will be the dynamic keynote speaker who will be accompanied by Ambassador Theodore R. Britton, Jr. ,Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Albania (GA), one of the nation’s first Black WWII Marines and recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal awarded by President Barack Obama in June, 2012.

Also, a number of other high profile community leaders will speak and receive honors during the Excellence in Leadership Awards segment of the program given to recognize outstanding community leaders for excellence in business and public service. Our audience is typically composed of ranking military dignitaries, veterans, veterans and military organizations, historians, journalist, clergy, academic faculty and students, business executives, government and public officials, and the general public.
