Fort Lee Fringe Festival: May 30th – June 3rd, 2017

The genesis of Fringe Festivals dates to 1947 and the first Edinburgh Festival in in Scotland. With the “official” festival using the city’s major venues, independent theatre companies took over smaller alternative venues for their productions. Thus these arts events were on the “fringe” of the official Edinburgh Festival. Since that time Fringe Festivals have spread across the globe even to NYC.

These Fringe Festivals are multi day events and usually last no longer than one hour per event / performance. The admission is free to all events. We encourage people to bring lawn chairs to the events.
