Why host the MHV Kickball Classic?
We love to have fun at Mile High Vineyard! And we love our city partners! Thus, the MHV Kickball Classic was born. To have fun, and highlight organizations making a difference around metro Denver.
What's the MHV Kickball Classic?
A double elimination kickball tournament!
What's the registration age min/max for this event?
Ages 7-70
How much does it cost to register?
$15/person. Registration includes: food, coffee, beer, swag bag, and Kickball Classic t-shirt! So find a team, and get registered!
How do I register?
Just hit the register button on the right hand side of this page. Register and pay all at once as a team. You'll want names, emails, and t-shirt sizes of your team members before registering.
When does registration close?
Space is limited. This is a 16 team, double elimination tournament. Registration closes Weds., June 14th... OR... once 16 teams have paid online and completed their team registrations.
Where do I check in to sign my individual waiver form?
Find the large event banner over the Check-In tables.
When will we recieve on SWAG bag?
Visit the Check-In tables between 815-845am to receive your SWAG bag.
What's in the SWAG bag?
Your MHV Kickball Classic T-Shirt; ticket for free food; plus much more!
My kids are too young to play, or really just aren't the kickball type. Will there be anything there for them to do?
You betcha! Our Kids Zone will surely bring delight to your kiddo(s). Bouncy castle, crafts, relay and carnival games!
How many can be on a team?
10 min/team. 12 max/team.
Is this event co-ed?
Yep!
In fact it's required. You must have 4 members of the opposite sex on the field at all times to compete.
How many on the field at one time?
10.
When/Where will the bracket times be posted?
830am day of the event, near the Check-In tables.
When will games be held?
Between 9am-1:30pm.
Where will the games take place?
One 1 of 4 fields at Oak Park on the south side of the park.
What is the team captain in charge of?
Making sure his/her entire team is registered/paid, and there on time the day of the event for all games scheduled.
How many games are we guaranteed to play?
Due to time constraints, this is a double elimination tournament with games lasting 20-25 mins, or 3 innings/game. So bring your A game!
What if we get knocked out early?
Stick around and meet some folks you don't know! Check out our City Partner booths. Root for the team that just beat you. Eat some food or have a drink on us! Did you mention there's a kids zone for those of you with families. Yeah, there will be plenty to do.
What if my team is not there at the start time of my game?
Your team will be forced to forfeit. This is a strict rule, but the only way we can ensure playing the amount of games (31) in the 4 hour tournament style.
Thus, please arrive on time to check to sign your waiver and find on the correct field, so your team does not have to forfeit.
Where can I get the rules of the event?
Great question. We'll email the team captain the week of the event. The team captain is responsible to communicate the rules before the event with participating team members.
Where is the event held?
Oak Park next to Campbell Elementary in Arvada. Please see event map on this website for specific location.
What are my parking options?
Parking available at Oak Park north side, and Campbell Elementary parking lot. Once full, try any of the side streets.
