The 19th Annual Riverside Juneteenth Celebration Saturday, June 1, 2019
This year marks the 400th Year 1619-2019 since the first enslaved Africans were brought to Jamestown, Virginia, on August 20, 1619.
The Riverside Juneteenth Committee will present a Free Family Festival featuring live entertainment, music, dance a mini- museum, car show, free health information and screenings, historical presentations, workshops, along with great food and merchandise vendors. There will be a one-mile Bordwell Park trail Walk 4 Life and health workshop from 10 –11:30 am continental breakfast provided. Registration required at 9 am
