(190003) Google Educator Certification Training - Level I & II

Level I Certification:
June 17, 18, 19, 20, 2019 | 8:30 a.m.—3:00 p.m.
Up to 3 credits available

Participants will master a number of apps and skills including Google Chrome, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Documents, as well as file and calendar sharing, collaborating on projects, installing apps/extensions, and more. Participants will also discuss the criteria for application and take the Google Certified Educator Level I exam to demonstrate these fundamental skills.  Level 1 Google Certified Educators have proven their proficiency to use Google tools in their classrooms to enhance their teaching and professionalism.

Level II Certification:
June 18, 19, 20, 2019 | 8:30 a.m.—3:00 p.m.
Up to 3 credits available
Prerequisite: Attendees must already be Level I Certified

Participants continue to hone their Google craft and professionalism while preparing for the Level 2 Google Educator Certification. A wide variety of topics will be covered with special emphasis on Classroom, Advanced Youtube, Virtual Tours, Google Earth, Hangouts, Google Scholar, Advanced Forms, and Sites (old and new). Participants will also begin building a training site for others, uniquely designed by the individuals.

These workshops and activities will be designed to prepare you for taking the Google Certified Educator exams. Time will be provided on the last day of the workshop to take the exam. Participants will be responsible for the $10 exam fee the last day of class.
