All ticket sales are final with no refunds. There will be NO ticket sales at the door of the Opening Ceremony and NO ticket sales at the door of the Awards Ceremony.

The Beaufort Film Society is pleased to present the 14th annual Beaufort International Film Festival February 18 - 23, 2020. Our 2019 festival welcomed 16,000 film lovers to Beaufort for 6 fun filled days of movie watching and star gazing all with the beautiful backdrop of the marshes of the Carolina Sea Islands. Come experience what has been called by many as the "best little film festival in the southeast."
This year our festival will be 6 days!!!! We will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 18th @ 6:00 pm and end on Sunday night, Feb. 23rd around 11:00 pm.
The Pat Conroy Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Eugene Gearty at the Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, February 23rd at 6:00 pm (Red Carpet Reception) and the Awards Gala begins promptly at 7:00 pm at the University of South Carolina, Beaufort, Center for the Arts. Gearty was one of the first digital sound designers/editors in the film industry. He has worked with some of the best Directors in the business, Martin Scorsese, Ang Lee, Spike Lee, the Coen Brothers to name a few. Eugene is legendary in the movie world of 'sound. He possesses a lengthy
John David Reynolds will be presented with the prestigious Behind-The-Scenes Award. A Charleston, SC based Cinematographer/Gaffer, John has traveled the world capturing images for film and television. He has performed practically every behind the scene task there is to include that of grip, gaffer, electrician, lighting director, editor, producer and director. His passion for light and beautiful imagery has lead him to countless opportunities, including serving as cinematographer for the feature film Warrior Road, contributing to numerous Olympics as a lighting director and other jobs (Athens, Turin, Beijing, Vancouver, London, Sochi), 20 years and counting of illuminating the Marlboro Man and numerous assignments in News, Television and Feature Films, including: The Patriot, The Notebook, The Royal Wedding, The Queens Diamond Jubilee and numerous Presidential debates from 2003 until the present.
The following categories of Features, Documentary, Animation, Short Films, Student Films, and Screenplays will receive the prestigious Jean Ribaut Awards. Other awards to be presented will be Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Comedy (Audience vote) and Audience Choice (Audience vote).
The Opening Night Filmmakers Receptoin will take place on Tuesday February 18th @ 6:00 pm at Tabby Place, 913 Port Republic Street , Downtown Beaufort. Dress code: Business casual. Advanced Ticket Sales only - No sales at the door.
