Explore Wethersfield’s Ancient Burying Ground at dusk by Lantern Light and meet some of the individuals who helped shape our town’s more than 375 year history.  In honor of the 10th Anniversary, all the historical figures on this year’s program have been drawn from Lantern Light Tours past, although this particular collection of characters (and the actors portraying them) have never appeared together before. They have been chosen by Wethersfield Historical Society based on their anecdotal popularity with audiences over the past decade.Space is limited so purchase tickets for this popular tour early! Ages 13 and up. Raindate October 20.

This historical walk covers approximately one mile over sometimes uneven terrain in dimly lit areas, and is approximately one hour and ten minutes long. Tour participants should dress accordingly for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Due to the format and subject matter of the program, it is not recommended for children under the age of 13.

The tour begins and ends at the Wethersfield Museum at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center, 200 Main Street in Wethersfield. Parking is in the rear of the building.

Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your tour time to check in at the reception desk on the first floor. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and tickets are non-refundable.
